Coppull United FC would like to officially unveil the return of Philip Hart as Reserve Team Manager, meaning we now have two local lads representing the club with Phil Hart leading the Reserves and Stephen Lynch, joint Manager of the 1st team.
On Phil Hart's return, the 1st team management of Mark Hine and Stephen Lynch commented "It is great to have Phil back involved in the club, he is Coppull through and through and knows a lot of the younger players we have here from his time working in the under 18s and Reserves a couple of years ago. Anyone who knows Harty knows he is ultra committed and will demand the exact same from his players. We interviewed a number of excellent candidates for this job but when Phil made his interest known there was only ever one choice for us. It is great pleasure to have him back on board with us and he will be a real asset to the club."
On his appointment Phil had a few words to say: "I am really happy to be back! Not only back at a club I love but a club that is very much on the rise. As reserve team manager you need to understand your role and that’s to develop players for first team level, I have done it before and i will do it again. I can’t wait to get started with this exciting young squad of players, the depth of quality in the squad is the highest I have ever seen. It’s now time to get us fitter than we’ve ever been and give the season our best and who knows we may pick up a trophy or two on the way with any luck.
